Sec. 903. Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy

Subsection (a)(1) of section 138 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking 13 and inserting 14 . Subsection
(b)of that section is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: One of the Assistant Secretaries is the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Industrial Base Policy. The Assistant Secretary shall— advise the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment on industrial base policies; and perform other duties as directed by the Under Secretary. .
