Section 914 of the Carl Levin and Howard P. Buck McKeon National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2015 ( 5 U.S.C. 5911 note) is amended— in subsection (a), by striking , for the period of time described in subsection (b), ; and by striking subsection (b). Such section is further amended by inserting after subsection
(a)the following new subsection (b): In carrying out a Government lodging program under subsection (a), the Secretary shall exclude from the requirements of the program employees who are traveling for the performance of mission functions of a public shipyard of the Department if the Secretary determines such requirements would adversely affect the purpose or mission of such travel. This subsection shall terminate on September 30, 2023. . The heading of such section is amended to read as follows: .
