Section 673(b) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking 72 hours both places it appears and inserting five calendar days . The amendments made by subsection
(a)shall take effect on the date of the enactment of this Act, and shall apply to decisions on applications for permanent change of station or unit transfer made under section 673 of title 10, United States Code, on or after that date.
