Part V of subtitle A of title 10, United States Code, as added by section 801 of the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2019 ( Public Law 115–232 ), is amended by inserting after chapter 303, as added by the preceding section, the following new chapter: Subchapter Sec. I. General Matters 4101 II. Personnel-Related Matters 4111 Sec. 4101. Reserved . 4102. Reserved . 4103. Mechanisms to provide funds for defense laboratories for research and development of technologies for military missions.
Sec. 4111. Authorities for certain positions at science and technology reinvention laboratories. 4112. Research and development laboratories: contracts for services of university students. . Section 2363 of title 10, United States Code, is transferred to subchapter I of chapter 305 of such title, as added by subsection (a), inserted after the table of sections at the beginning of such subchapter, and redesignated as section 4103. Sections 2358a and 2360 of title 10, United States Code, are transferred to subchapter II of chapter 305 of such title, as added by subsection (a), inserted (in that order) after the table of sections at the beginning of such subchapter, and redesignated as sections 4111 and 4112, respectively.
Section 2805(d)(1)(B) of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking section 2363(a) and inserting section 4103(a) .
