Section 1250 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2016 ( Public Law 114–92 ; 129 Stat. 1068) is amended— in subsection (c)— in paragraph (1), by striking 50 percent of the funds available for fiscal year 2020 pursuant to subsection (f)(5) and inserting 50 percent of the funds available for fiscal year 2021 pursuant to subsection (f)(6) ; in paragraph (2)(B)— in clause (iv), by striking ; and at the end and inserting a semicolon; in clause (v), by striking the period at the end and inserting a semicolon; and by adding at the end the following: transformation of command and control structures and roles in line with North Atlantic Treaty Organization principles; and improvement of human resources management, including to support career management reforms, enhanced social support to military personnel and their families, and professional military education systems. ; in paragraph (3), by striking fiscal year 2020 and inserting fiscal year 2021 ; and in paragraph
(5)to read as follows: Of the funds available for fiscal year 2021 pursuant to subsection (f)(6), $75,000,000 shall be available only for lethal assistance described in paragraphs (2), (3), (11), (12), (13), and
(14)of subsection (b). ; in subsection (f), by adding at the end the following: For fiscal year 2021, $250,000,000. ; and in subsection (h), by striking December 31, 2022 and inserting December 31, 2023 .
