Sec. 14704. Designation of embassy anti-corruption points of contact

The Secretary shall annually designate an anti-corruption point of contact at the United States diplomatic post to each country identified under paragraphs
(2)and
(3)of section 14702(b), or which the Secretary otherwise determines is in need of such a point of contact. Each designated anti-corruption point of contact under subsection
(a)shall be responsible for coordinating and overseeing implementation of a whole-of-government approach among the relevant Federal departments and agencies that operate programs that promote good governance in foreign countries and enhance such countries’ ability to combat public corruption in order to accomplish such objectives in the country to which such point of contact is posted, including through the development and implementation of corruption risk assessment tools and mitigation strategies. The Secretary shall implement appropriate training for designated anti-corruption points of contact under subsection (a).
