The subdivision

(A)following paragraph

(30)of section 1905(a) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1396d(a) ) is amended by inserting and except during the 30-day period preceding the date of release of such individual from such public institution, but only if such 30-day period occurs during the emergency period described in section 1135(g)(1)(B) after medical institution .
