Section 1903(l) of the Social Security Act ( 42 U.S.C. 1396b(l) ) is amended— in paragraph (1)— by striking January 1, 2020 and inserting the date that is 6 months after the end of the emergency period described in section 1135(g)(1)(B) ; and in subparagraph (A), by inserting (if applicable) after percentage points each place it appears; and in paragraph (4)(A)(i), by inserting before the semicolon the following: (if applicable) or for calendar quarters occurring during the period beginning on the date that is 6 months after the end of the emergency period described in section 1135(g)(1)(B) and ending on the date that is 1 year after the end of such period .
