In this Act: The term Agency means the United States Agency for International Development. The term appropriate congressional committees means— the Committee on Foreign Relations of the Senate; the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate; the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the House of Representatives; and the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives. The term gender analysis refers to the definition as outlined in the Women’s Entrepreneurship and Economic Empowerment Act of 2018 ( Public Law 115–428 ), namely to undertake analysis of quantitative and qualitative information to identify, understand, and explain gaps between men and women .
