Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Transportation shall submit to the Committee on Appropriations of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Appropriations of the Senate a report describing the resources necessary for the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration to establish the national integrated pipeline safety regulatory inspection database described in the report required under section 11(a) of the PIPES Act of 2016 ( 49 U.S.C. 60108 note). The report required to be submitted under subsection
(a)shall include— a description of the steps necessary for the Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration and State pipeline regulators to establish such database; and a timeline for the completion of such database.
