Section 1216(b) of the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018 ( 42 U.S.C. 5174a(b) ) is amended by— redesignating paragraph
(2)as paragraph (3); and inserting after paragraph
(1)the following: Unless there is evidence of civil or criminal fraud, the Agency may not take any action to recoup covered assistance from an individual or a household that is a recipient of such assistance. .
