Sec. 301. Definitions

In this title: The term Basin — is limited to areas within the State; and means each of— the Upper Rio Grande Basin; the Middle Rio Grande Basin; the Lower Rio Grande Basin; the Lower Pecos River Basin; the Gila River Basin; the Canadian River Basin; the San Francisco River Basin; and the San Juan River Basin. The term District means— the Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District; the Elephant Butte Irrigation District; the Carlsbad Irrigation District; the Arch Hurley Conservancy District; the Pecos Valley Artesian Conservation District; or the San Juan Water Commission.

The term Pueblo means each of the following pueblos in the State: Cochiti. Santo Domingo. San Felipe. Santa Ana. Sandia. Isleta.
