In this subtitle: The term alternative fuel means a fuel that is sustainably produced and, or, that results in a significant reduction in carbon dioxide
(CO2)emissions, or other particulate or toxic emissions, over the lifecycle of such fuel. The term Department means the Department of Energy. The term Secretary means the Secretary of Energy.
