(1)of section 402A(a) of the Public Health Service Act ( 42 U.S.C. 282a(a) ) is amended by adding at the end the following: In addition to the amounts authorized to be appropriated by the preceding sentence, there are authorized to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary for each of fiscal years 2020 through 2024 for carrying out section 481A (relating to rare disease regional centers of excellence). .
