Sec. 16. Conforming amendments to the Domestic Volunteer Service Act of 1973

Section 421 of the Domestic Volunteer Service Act of 1973 ( 42 U.S.C. 5061 ) is amended— by striking paragraph
(1)and inserting the following: the term Director means the Director of the National and Community Service Administration appointed under section 193 of the National and Community Service Act of 1990; ; by striking paragraph
(7)and inserting the following: the term Administration means the National and Community Service Administration established under section 191 of the National and Community Service Act of 1990; ; by redesignating paragraphs (7), (20), (1), (8), (9), (10), (11), (13), (12), (3), (4), (6), (5), (14), (15), (16), (17), (2), (18), and
(19)as paragraphs
(1)through (20), respectively; and transferring such redesignated paragraphs so that the paragraphs appear in numerical order. The Domestic Volunteer Service Act of 1973 is amended— in section 2(b) ( 42 U.S.C. 4950(b) ), by striking Corporation for National and Community Service and inserting Director of the National and Community Service Administration ; except as provided in subsection
(a)and paragraph
(1)of this subsection, by striking Corporation each place it appears and inserting Administration ; and in section 201(h) ( 42 U.S.C. 5001(h) ), by striking Chief Executive Officer and inserting Director .
