The Secretary of Health and Human Services, acting through the Director of the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority, shall carry out a program, modeled on the Combating Antibiotic Resistant Bacteria Accelerator program of the Department of Health and Human Services (commonly referred to as CARB–X ), for research with respect to antifungal resistance, including therapies, diagnostics, and vaccines, including for coccidioidomycosis. There is authorized to be appropriated to carry out subsection
(a)$10,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2021 through 2025, to remain available until expended.
