Section 2601(2) of the Energy Policy Act of 1992 ( 25 U.S.C. 3501(2) ) is amended— in subparagraph (B)(iii), by striking and ; in subparagraph (C), by striking land. and inserting land; and ; and by adding at the end the following subparagraph: any land in a census tract in which the majority of the residents are Natives (as defined in section 3(b) of the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act ( 43 U.S.C. 1602(b) )). . Section 2602(b)(5) of the Energy Policy Act of 1992 ( 25 U.S.C. 3502(b)(5) ) is amended by adding at the end the following subparagraph:
The Director may reduce any applicable cost share required of an Indian tribe in order to receive a grant under this subsection to not less than 10 percent if the Indian tribe meets criteria developed by the Director, including financial need. . Section 2602(b)(7) of the Energy Policy Act of 1992 ( 25 U.S.C. 3502(b)(7) ) is amended by striking $20,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2006 through 2016 and inserting $30,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2020 through 2024 .
