Sec. 532. Statute of limitations for certain offenses

Section 843 of title 10, United States Code (article 43 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice), is amended— in subsection (a), by inserting maiming of a child, kidnapping of a child, after sexual assault of a child, ; and in subsection (b)(2)(B)— by striking clauses
(ii)and (iv); and by redesignating clause
(iii)as clause (ii). The amendments made by subsection
(a)shall take effect on the date of the enactment of this Act and shall apply with respect to the prosecution of offenses committed before, on, or after the date of the enactment of this Act if the applicable limitation period has not yet expired.
