(A)and (B), by inserting adoption before by ; in subparagraph (B), by inserting or organizations after persons ; and in subparagraph (C), by striking by and inserting transfer to ; in subsection (e)— in the subsection heading, by inserting after or Adopted ; Transferred in paragraphs
(1)and (2), by striking transferred each place it appears and inserting transferred or adopted ; and in paragraph (2), by striking transfer each place it appears and inserting transfer or adoption ; in subsection (f)— in the subsection heading, by striking and inserting Transfer of Retired ; and Transportation of Retiring in paragraph (1), by striking transfer and inserting transport ; in subsection (g)(3), by striking adoption of military working dogs and all that follows through the period at the end and inserting transfer of military working dogs to law enforcement agencies before the end of the dogs’ useful working lives. ; and in subsection (h)(2), by striking A horse and inserting An equid (horse, mule, or donkey) .
