Not later than March 1 of each of 2020, 2021, and 2022, the Secretary of the Navy shall submit to the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and the House of Representatives a report on the Operation and Maintenance Ship Depot Maintenance budget sub-activity group. The report required under subsection
(a)shall include each of the following elements: A breakdown of funding, categorized by class of ship, requested for ship and submarine maintenance. A description of how the requested funding, categorized by class of ship, compares to the identified ship maintenance requirement. The amount of funds appropriated for each class of ship for the preceding fiscal year. The amount of funds obligated and expended for each class of ship for each of the three preceding fiscal years. The cost, categorized by class of ship, of unplanned growth work for each of the three preceding fiscal years.
