Section 5(a) of the Inspector General Act of 1978 (5 U.S.C. App.) is amended— in paragraph (21), by striking ; and at the end and inserting a semicolon; in paragraph (22), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by inserting after paragraph
(22)the following new paragraph: the name of each individual who is the subject of an investigation if the individual was an officer in the grade of O-7 and above, including officers who have been selected for promotion to O-7, or a civilian member of the Senior Executive Service. .
