It is the sense of Congress that— the North Atlantic Treaty Organization
(NATO)is central to United States-European defense matters; and military cooperation and coordination in Europe among NATO member countries should complement NATO efforts and not detract from NATO military system interoperability and burden sharing among NATO allies.
