Section 15 of the Child Nutrition Act of 1966 ( 42 U.S.C. 1784 ) is amended by striking paragraph

(1)and inserting the following: The term State means— any of the 50 States; the District of Columbia; the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico; the Virgin Islands; Guam; American Samoa; the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands; or an Indian tribe (as defined in section 4 of the Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act ( 25 U.S.C. 5304 )). .
