Not later than 60 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of the Interior shall submit to Congress a report on each facility and related infrastructure of the Department of the Interior damaged by a volcanic eruption covered by a major disaster declared by the President in calendar year 2018 in accordance with section 401 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster Relief and Emergency Assistance Act ( 42 U.S.C. 5170 ) (referred to in this section as a covered facility ). The report submitted under subsection
(a)shall include— an inventory of all covered facilities; a description of— any closures of covered facilities; and the estimated impact on visitorship to covered facilities open to the public as a result of a volcanic eruption; and a plan— to restore or replace covered facilities; and to restore visitorship levels to covered facilities open to the public to historic visitorship levels. In preparing the plan required under subsection (b)(3), the Secretary of the Interior shall— engage the community in which the covered facility is located, including the State and units of local government; and include the estimated costs of carrying out the activities described in the plan.
