Not later than January 1, 2021, and every 90 days thereafter until the compliance date for the final rule published on December 8, 2016, titled Minimum Training Requirements for Entry-Level Commercial Motor Vehicle Operators (81 Fed. Reg. 88732), the Secretary shall submit to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate a report on— a schedule, including benchmarks, to complete implementation of the requirements under such final rule; any anticipated delays, if applicable, in meeting the benchmarks described in paragraph (1); the progress that the Secretary has made in updating the Department of Transportation’s information technology infrastructure to support the training provider registry; a list of States that have adopted laws or regulations to implement such final rule; and a list of States, if applicable, that are implementing the rule and confirming that an applicant for a commercial driver’s license has complied with the requirements.
