Section 166 of title 23, United States Code, is amended— in subsection (b)— in paragraph (4)(C)(iii) by striking transportation buses and inserting transportation vehicles ; and in paragraph (5)(B) by striking 2019 and inserting 2025 ; in subsection (d)(2)(A)(i) by striking 45 miles per hour, in the case of a toll facility with a speed of 50 miles per hour or greater and inserting 35 miles per hour, in the case of a toll facility with a speed limit of 45 miles per hour or greater ; in subsection (d)(2)(B) by striking morning or evening weekday peak hour periods (or both) and inserting peak hour periods ; in subsection (e)— by striking Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this section, the Administrator and inserting The Administrator ; in paragraph
(1)by striking and at the end; in paragraph
(2)by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of the INVEST in America Act , update the requirements established under paragraph (1). ; and in subsection (f)— in paragraph (1)— by striking subparagraphs (C), (D), and (F); and by redesignating subparagraphs (E), (G), (H), and
(I)as subparagraphs (C), (D), (E), and (F), respectively; and in paragraph (6)(B)(i) by striking public entity and inserting public transportation service that is a recipient or subrecipient of funds under . chapter 53 of title 49
