Sec. 1503. Tribal High Priority Projects program

Section 202 of title 23, United States Code, is amended— by redesignating subsection
(f)as subsection (g); and by inserting after subsection
(e)the following: Before making any distribution under subsection (b), the Secretary shall set aside $50,000,000 from the funds made available under the tribal transportation program for each fiscal year to carry out the Tribal High Priority Projects program under section 1123 of MAP–21 ( 23 U.S.C. 202 note). . Section 1123 of MAP–21 ( 23 U.S.C. 202 note) is amended— in subsection (a)(1)(C) by striking required by that section and inserting required under such program ; in subsection (b)(1) by striking use amounts made available under subsection
(h)to ; in subsection (d)— in paragraph
(2)by inserting , in consultation with the Secretary of the Interior, after The Secretary ; and in paragraph
(3)by striking of the Interior each place it appears; in subsection
(f)by striking $1,000,000 and inserting $5,000,000 ; in subsection
(g)by striking and the Secretary and inserting or the Secretary ; and by striking subsection
(h)and inserting the following: The funds made available to carry out this section shall be administered in the same manner as funds made available for the Tribal transportation program under section 202 of title 23, United States Code. .
