There is established in the Treasury a fund, to be known as the Wildlife Corridors Stewardship Fund , that consists of donations of amounts accepted under subsection (c). The Fund— shall be administered by the Secretary and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, acting jointly; and may be used by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation to enhance the management and protection of National Wildlife Corridors by providing financial assistance to the Federal Government, Indian Tribes, and nongovernmental, science, and academic organizations.
The National Fish and Wildlife Foundation may solicit and accept donations of amounts for deposit into the Fund. In administering the Fund, the Secretary and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation may coordinate with regional wildlife movement councils, regional ocean partnerships, and the National Coordination Committee to the maximum extent practicable. Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, and annually thereafter, the Secretary and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation shall make publicly available a description of usage of the Fund during the preceding calendar year.
