Sec. 1114. State assumption of responsibility for categorical exclusions

Section 326(c)(3) of title 23, United States Code, is amended— by striking subparagraph

(A)and inserting the following: except as provided under subparagraph (C), have a term of not more than 3 years; ; in subparagraph

(B)by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: for any State that has assumed the responsibility for categorical exclusions under this section for at least 10 years, have a term of 5 years. .
