The Water Desalination Act of 1996 ( Public Law 104–298 ; 42 U.S.C. 10301 note) is amended— in section 4(a)(1), by inserting , including modules specifically designed for brine management after and concepts ; and in section 8(b)— by striking 3,000,000 and inserting 20,000,000 ; and by striking 2017 through 2021 and inserting 2022 through 2026, in addition to the authorization of appropriations for projects in section 4(a)(2)(F) .
