Section 6101(c)(2)(A) of the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1990 ( 42 U.S.C. 2214(c)(2)(A) ) is amended— in clause (iii), by striking and at the end; in clause (iv), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: amounts appropriated to the Commission for the fiscal year for activities related to the development of a regulatory framework for advanced nuclear reactor technologies, including activities required under section 103 of the Nuclear Energy Innovation and Modernization Act . . Effective October 1, 2019, section 6101 of the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1990 ( 42 U.S.C. 2214 ) is repealed.
