The Administrator shall continue to carry out opportunities for both formal and informal STEM engagement activities either within the Office of STEM Engagement or within other directorates, including the following: Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research. Minority University Research and Education Project. National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program. Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Administrator shall brief the appropriate committees of Congress on— the status of the programs listed under subsection (a); and how all other STEM engagement activities at NASA are organized and funded.
In this section, the term STEM means science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, including computer science.
