Sec. 410. Report on activities of certain foreign governments and actors in Venezuela

Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of State, acting through the Bureau of Intelligence and Research of the Department of State, and in coordination with the Director of National Intelligence, shall submit a report to Congress that describes— the full extent of cooperation by the Government of the Russian Federation, the Government of the People’s Republic of China, the Government of Cuba, and the Government of Iran with the Government of Venezuela and the National Bolivarian Armed Forces of Venezuela; and the activities of foreign armed groups, including the Colombian guerilla group known as the National Liberation Army (ELN), defectors from the Colombian guerilla group known as the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC), and Colombian criminal organizations, inside Venezuelan territory.
The report required under subsection
(a)shall be submitted in unclassified form, but may include a classified annex. The unclassified portion of the report shall be made available to the public.
