There are authorized to be appropriated to the Secretary of State $30,000,000 for each of fiscal years 2019 through 2023, to be provided to the OPCW as a voluntary contribution pursuant to section 301(a) of the Foreign Assistance Act of 1961 ( 22 U.S.C. 2221(a) ) for the purpose of strengthening the OPCW’s investigative and identification mechanisms for chemical weapons attacks. Amounts authorized to be appropriated pursuant to subsection
(a)shall remain available until expended.
