Subsection
(f)of section 309 of the Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012 ( Public Law 112–87 ; 50 U.S.C. 3329 note) is amended by striking the date that is 180 days after . Subsection
(g)of such section is amended by striking the date and all that follows through the period and inserting September 30, 2023. . Such section is amended— by redesignating subsections
(f)and (g), as amended by subsections
(a)and (b), as subsections
(g)and (h), respectively; and by inserting after subsection
(e)the following: Except as provided in paragraph (2), not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of the Matthew Young Pollard Intelligence Authorization Act for Fiscal Years 2018 and 2019 and not less frequently than once each calendar year thereafter, the Director of National Intelligence shall, in consultation with each head of a covered agency, submit to the congressional intelligence committees (as defined in section 3 of the National Security Act of 1947 ( 50 U.S.C. 3003 )), a report that details the determinations and notifications made under subsection
(c)during the most recently completed calendar year. The first report submitted under paragraph
(1)shall detail all the determinations and notifications made under subsection
(c)before the date of the submittal of the report. .
