Section 1452(k) of the Safe Drinking Water Act ( 42 U.S.C. 300j–12(k) ) is amended— in paragraph (1)(D), by inserting and for the implementation of efforts (other than actions authorized under subparagraph (A)) to protect source water in areas delineated pursuant to section 1453 before the period at the end; and in paragraph (2)(E), by inserting , and to implement efforts to protect source water, after wellhead protection programs .
