In this part: The term appropriate committees of Congress means— the Committee on Armed Services, the Select Committee on Intelligence, and the Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs of the Senate; and the Committee on Armed Services, the Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, and the Committee on Homeland Security of the House of Representatives. The term information technology has the meaning given such term in section 11101 of title 40, United States Code. The term national security system has the meaning given such term in section 3552(b) of title 44, United States Code.
