Section 4(b) of the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995 ( 2 U.S.C. 1603(b) ) is amended— in paragraph (5), by striking and at the end; in paragraph (6), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by inserting after paragraph
(6)the following: for any registrant who was convicted in a Federal or State court of an offense involving bribery, extortion, embezzlement, an illegal kickback, tax evasion, fraud, a conflict of interest, making a false statement, perjury, or money laundering, the date of the conviction and a description of the offense. . Section 5(b) of the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995 ( 2 U.S.C. 1604(b) ) is amended— in paragraph (4), by striking and at the end; in paragraph (5), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and ; and by adding at the end the following: for any registrant who was convicted in a Federal or State court of an offense involving bribery, extortion, embezzlement, an illegal kickback, tax evasion, fraud, a conflict of interest, making a false statement, perjury, or money laundering, the date of the conviction and a description of the offense. .
