The Secretary shall conduct a study on the status of— the project at McMicken Dam, Arizona; and the project for flood damage reduction and environmental restoration, Muddy River, Brookline and Boston, Massachusetts, authorized by section 522 of the Water Resources Development Act of 2000 (114 Stat. 2656). Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall submit to Congress a report describing the results of the study under subsection (a). The report under subsection
(b)shall include— a description of the reasons of the Secretary for deauthorizing the projects described in subsection (a); and if practicable, a description of conditions needed by the Secretary for the Secretary to reauthorize the projects described in subsection (a).
