It is the sense of Congress that there should be robust cybersecurity cooperation between the United States and nations in the Indo-Pacific region— to effectively respond to cybersecurity threats, including state-sponsored threats; to share best practices to combat such threats; to strengthen resilience against cyberattacks, misinformation, and propaganda; and to strengthen the resilience of critical infrastructure. There are authorized to be appropriated $100,000,000 for each of the fiscal years 2019 through 2023 to enhance cooperation between the United States and Indo-Pacific nations for the purposes of combatting cybersecurity threats.
