Section 702(b)(1) of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978, as redesignated by section 2, is amended— in subparagraph (D), as redesignated by section 2, by striking ; and and inserting a semicolon; by redesignating subparagraph
(E)as subparagraph (G); and by inserting after subparagraph
(D)the following: may not acquire a communication as to which no participant is a person who is targeted pursuant to the authorized acquisition; .
