Sec. 402. Authorization to alter United States relations with countries enabling the Democratic People's Republic of Korea

The Secretary of State may take such actions as are necessary to induce countries to take measures to diplomatically and economically isolate the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on the list required by section 401(b)(3). Actions described in subsection
(a)may include— reduction of the diplomatic presence in the United States of countries on the list required by section 401(b)(3); and reduction of the diplomatic presence of the United States in those countries. Not less than 15 days before taking any action under subsection (a), the Secretary shall consult with the appropriate congressional committees with respect to the action.
