Section 209(c) of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1159(c) ) is amended by striking (other than paragraph (2)(C) or subparagraph (A), (B), (C), or
(E)of paragraph (3)) , and inserting (other than paragraph 2(C) or
(G)or subparagraph (A), (B), (C), (E),
(F)or
(G)of paragraph (3)) . Section 240(b)(5) of the Immigration and Nationality Act ( 8 U.S.C. 1229a(b)(5) ) is amended by inserting at the end a new subparagraph
(F)to read as follows— Additional application to certain aliens outside the United States who are associated with human rights violations. The preceding provisions of this paragraph shall apply to any alien placed in proceedings under this section who is outside of the United States, has received notice of proceedings under section 240(a) either within or outside of the United States, and is described in section 212(a)(2)(G) (officials who have committed particularly severe violations of religious freedom), 212(a)(3)(E) (Nazi persecution, genocide, extrajudicial killing, or torture), or 212(a)(3)(G) (recruitment or use of child soldiers). .
