Sec. 508. Report on contracts with Kaspersky Labs and Huawei

Not later than 30 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of State shall develop a process and timeframe for determining whether or not the Department of State purchased software, hardware, or services from Kaspersky Lab, Huawei, ZTE Corporation, or from any affiliates where Kaspersky Lab, Huawei, or ZTE Corporation equipment, software, or services may be contained, and if so, if any of those products or services are still in use. Not later than 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of State shall submit to the appropriate congressional committees a report on the findings pursuant to the review under subsection (a), and shall provide updates every 30 days thereafter until the review is complete.
