In this Act— the term Administrator means the Administrator of the Federal Emergency Management Agency; the term appropriate committees of Congress means— the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs of the Senate; and the Committee on Financial Services of the House of Representatives; the term Federal entity for lending regulation has the meaning given the term in section 3(a) of the Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973 ( 42 U.S.C. 4003(a) ); the term mandatory purchase requirement means the requirement under subsections
(a)and
(b)of section 102 of the Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973 ( 42 U.S.C. 4012a ) to have flood insurance coverage; and the term National Flood Insurance Program means the program established under the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 ( 42 U.S.C. 4001 et seq.).
