Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary, in consultation with the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners and the National Association of State Energy Officials, shall conduct a study of the State, regional, and national implications of exporting liquefied natural gas with respect to consumers and the economy. The study conducted under paragraph
(1)shall include an analysis of— the economic impact that exporting liquefied natural gas will have in regions that currently import liquefied natural gas; job creation in the manufacturing sectors; and such other issues as the Secretary considers appropriate. Not later than 1 year after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary shall submit to Congress a report on the results of the study conducted under subsection (a).
