Section 100216(b) of the Biggert-Waters Flood Insurance Reform Act of 2012 ( 42 U.S.C. 4101b(b) ), as amended by section 504, is amended by adding at the end the following: In updating maps under this section, the Administrator shall use coastal flood models that ensure technically and scientifically accurate modeling to represent and communicate flood risk. .
