Sec. 1922. Real-time security checkpoint wait times

Not later than 18 months after the date of enactment of this Act, the Administrator shall make available to the public information on wait times at each airport security checkpoint at which security screening operations are conducted or overseen by the TSA. The information described in subsection
(a)shall be provided in real time via technology and published— online; and in physical locations at applicable airport terminals. The Administrator shall only make the information described in subsection
(a)available to the public if it can do so in a manner that does not increase public area security risks. In this section, the term wait time means the period beginning when a passenger enters a queue for a screening checkpoint and ending when that passenger exits the checkpoint.
