Each entity, official, or former official of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico shall provide any information requested by the Commission in carrying out the duties of the Commission under section 304 by summons or as required by law. Any entity, official, or former official described in subsection
(a)that does not obey a summons or request of the Commission for information required by the Commission to carry out the duties of the Commission under section 304, the appropriate district court of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico shall, on the request of the Commission, issue an order compelling that entity, official, or former official to produce the requested information, as appropriate. Any entity, official, or former official described in subsection
(a)that does not comply with an order of the court under subsection
(b)shall be held in contempt for failing to obey that order.
