For purposes of section 102(d) of the Department of Housing and Urban Development Reform Act of 1989, mortgage insurance and other credit enhancement provided under this title shall not be considered assistance within the jurisdiction of the Department. Section 9101(3) of title 31, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end the following new subparagraph: the Federal Housing Administration. . Section 501(l) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 ( 26 U.S.C. 501(l) ) is amended by adding at the end the following new paragraph: The Federal Housing Administration established under subtitle C of title V of the Protecting American Taxpayers and Homeowners Act of 2018. .
